Volare Awards Night: Mumbai celebrates Italy in Bollywood

Februrary, 9th in Mumbai it took place the first edition of Volare Awards Night 2018,  “Italy, where dreams come true”. More than 120 stars of Indian cinema took part at the event, including 50 indian producers.

Italian Embassy, General Consulate in Mumbai, ENIT India and Italia Film Commission gave a prize to: Randhir Kapoor, actor and son of the first Indian producer who shot abroad and chose Italy during the Sixties, the production house Yash Raj Film, the actress Deepika Padukone, the producer Sajiid Nadiadwala, the director Ali Imtiaz, the Oscar winner composer AR. Rahman.

ODU Movies took part in the organization of the event. Moreover the company produced the documentary “Italy from the eyes of Indian Cinema“: Ivano Fucci got prestigious interviews of Indian cinema industry, creating a story about the strong relationship between Bollywood and Italia from the Sixties to the present time.

The tribute music video “Volare” was also screened during the event, with singers Shweta Pandit and Azzurra Parisi.
